It is as advertised, plug and play. It does take a few more seconds to connect but it works great. Picture quality is good.

Purchased after returning a similar product that didn't work. Easy to mount. Easy to hook up. Picture is great.

When it works it's great. Probably works without any issues 10% of the time. Works with tinkering (resetting, re-syncing) 50% of the time. And the other 40% just won't work between the sending and receiving units. Space I am using it in is 20ft unobstructed line of sight from transmitter to receiver. If anyone has troubleshooting tips or a different product rec would love it! Great idea but not great execution.

We have used these numerous times in Motorhome installations to run signal to a slide out. They always work, no complaints from customers. No latency. There is a few second delay while connecting to TV when First turning TV on. But once it is connected it runs perfect. Will continue to buy this product.

Units had major difficulties linking at 10m apart with an open doorway between them. Switching between video streams (eg 1080p/50 to/fr 1080p/60) was a painfully long wait and most often the link was lost. I've used 2.4Ghz AV w/o issue (except no HDMI and static from m-w oven & a noisey iphone). Intent was to replace a 5.8Ghz Digitech that worked fine until sender went supernova one week after the warranty expired. Thought I'd been hard done by but it turns out I was lucky -> there are/were worse electronics out there. The Nyrius and also a Hagibis that had the same problems in addition to getting very hot very fast.

I ordered it a while ago, just been sitting on my shelf, because i have an old nyrius wireless hdmi, and it worked good. I just opened this one about a week ago, first thing i noticed, a lot of pixels and splotchy patched coming through, and its only 5-7 feet away from the transmitter with nothing in between. Second, i use it so i dont have wires showing to my tv. It says it need a few seconds to connect once it gets signal. I have literally sat for over 5 minutes waiting for the signal to come through. With no response, i end up turning off and on the receiving side to get it to reconnect, and then it is very pixelated for the first 2-3 minutes. Though this one wasn't cheap, i would recommend researching and not getting this one.

For me, this was a perfect plug-and-play experience, no lag or interference whatsoever. It has quantifiably improved my quality of life, no joke.

Having used the Nyrius Aries Pro+ Wireless HDMI for a bit over a month, we're looking for another solution. It overheats which causes it to quit. It connected quickly and easily. Picture quality is very good. Lag is barely there - perfectly watchable. Range in line of sight is good. Putting a person in a chair between the tx and rx 12 ft. away can cause interference which shows up as occasional momentary dropouts. Overall, my big disappointment is that this gets hot and quits, otherwise, I'd love it.
Update: The TX failed completely about 9 months in. Nyrius honored the warranty and sent a replacement unit. A couple minor hoops to jump through, but nothing unreasonable. So let's keep them in the Good Company category and hope they continue to improve their products. I have another unit in service currently but I'll update if this one later causes trouble.
Don't be afraid to get these Nyrius units - there isn't anything better at the moment, and there's been a few years for the competitors to try. Just chalk it up to a very difficult feat. My suggestion is to have them fully off when not in use, as this should prolong the life. Good luck! -
Set this unit up on a 4K TV on the Patio. Even with line of sight being correct, it works but the signal begins to drop out after a couple of hours, it returns after a few minutes, but it is a continuous problem. The better option would be an OREI HDMI Splitter and long HDMI Cable. I've use this method before with excellent results.

This is a very nice product. I've been using it for my ps4 with a projector. I keep my ps4 in the living room with a Tv and I can play it in my room on a projector without moving my gaming console. Very useful and awesome product. 0 Latency just as the company has mentioned, nothing negative on this product. Great all around!

Product lasted one year then just quit working for no reason. It was kept in a controlled environment.

About a week after getting the Nyrius Aries Pro, it broke.I tried to get customer support but e-mail support took more than 24 hours for each e-mail.Amazon finally had to return the product for Nyrius.I then bought the IOGEAR GWHD11, which looks like it actually uses the same Firmware as the Nyrius Aries Pro.The new product has worked, so I have nothing more to add at this time.

FAQs
Aries Pro makes a fantastic wireless HD solution. You can send video from sources such as Laptops, PCs and gaming consoles up to 100 feet away, with zero latency!
Also known as input lag, Nyrius Aries Wireless HD transmitters and receivers are considered Zero Latency. This means if you’re using a computer and move your mouse, there is no delay. This makes Aries product great for presentations and gaming!
Aries Pro includes a transmitter and receiver. The receiver includes a power adapter to be connected to a wall outlet. To keep your transmitter portable, it’s powered by USB from the source device or in some cases an external power pack may be necessary if a USB power connection is not available. The transmitter must be connected to both USB and HDMI to transmit.
Nyrius Aries Pro requires both a USB and HDMI connection, USB for power and HDMI for video. This allows the transmitter to act as an invisible HDMI cable with no USB drivers required!
Aries Pro is designed primarily for use with a computer. If you have another monitor connected already, this can be used with the extend feature to act as a wireless second monitor. It can also be used to duplicate the display of that display on another monitor or TV or make your main display wireless.
Aries Pro does not offer the option of multiple receivers for sending video to multiple displays.
