  1. It is great, it just does not provide as much broadcasting p 0 people found this helpful

It is great, it just does not provide as much broadcasting power as I hoped it would. While it does transfer over into the other room or to the room upstairs, but if there is more in the way (like regular furniture) than just the wall or the (wood) ceiling, I am getting troubles to receive a good picture (or any picture at all). But again - once I find a good position for the receiver (it's sometimes like the old "game" with the bunny ears antennas for a TV air reception), the picture and sound are great and indeed without any lag. I ran the sound of my PC and on the TV on high volume and stood in the middle. Practically perfect. Additional observations : Especially the receiver can get VERY hot (on its bottom side in the middle is a metal winding for a screw like for mounting it on a tripod - don't touch that after keeping it on for a while ...). And the included remote to access some internal menus of the receiver - this practically does not work. I got a few elements, where the receiver recognized the signal from the remote control, but there is no way that I could actually set anything there. The battery of the remote is OK, I also checked with my camcorder - yes, it is sending out IR signals. So, I am not sure what causes this failure. I pointed the remote to all sides of the receiver, and I used the IR extension sensor. No difference. Practically no reaction. Luckily I don't think I will really need this feature. As long as the device really transmit my computer screen in such great quality ... But these are the reasons why I did not give full stars. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

A little unit with great range. When making the inital connection you MUST start up the monitor side before making the sending unit connection. After that first connection it does not matter. Three small negatives: 1. The receiving unit has an AC adaptor it would be nice to include the option of USB power as there is a USB data connector on the unit. 2. The receiving unit had FOUR cables coming out of it which makes for some excess wiring to tidy up. 3. Both units get HOT. You would not want to leave them plugged in if not in use. Excellent value and would recommend to others. Rapid shipment and good packaging from the vendor. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

    Overall Performance

I set this up for 1 cable box to use on two TVs. One main TV in family room and one in eating area of my kitchen (essentially in the same room but not line of sight about 25 feet apart). The product works great although sometimes it takes up to 30 secs for my receiver TV to pick up the signal from the transmitter. I see no degradation in picture quality. If both TVs are on (they both have to be on the same channel) I do notice the sound on the main TV diminishes but that may be because I'm splitting the HDMI from my cable box with a 1x2 HDMI splitter. I just turn up the volume and it works fine. So far so good. I would recommend this product. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

  4. These used to be cheaper by Nyrius has raised the prices con 0 people found this helpful
    Overall Performance

These used to be cheaper by Nyrius has raised the prices considerably. I use it for filmmaking and it's particularly useful for gimbals, steadicams, or handheld rigs where the director or 1st AC needs to see the image. It's relatively reliable. It doesn't do well with traveling through concrete block walls. Once you loose your connection, it can take a minute or so to re-establish it. The transmitter does get hot. It's easy to adapt to various forms of powering it since it takes 5v. You can use cellphone battery extender packs or even adapt it to a d-tap cable that parralinx makes. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

    Overall Performance

I'm using it as a wireless link between a Canon C100 video camera and a SmallHD video monitor. Despite the cheap-looking construction, it works great. The picture is clean & stable. Monitor is only about 15-25 feet from the camera, but it's great to get rid of that cable. On the camera side, I'm running it on a lithium battery, and on the monitor side, I'm using AC power, with the wall wart that came with it. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -
