It took me all of 45 seconds to plug it in to my Gigaware iPhone dock and pair it with my iPhone. I walked into another room and from 30 feet away thru a wall, it still sounded great. My other bluetooth receiver only has a 15 feet line of sight range. I was a little disappointed to see the box had previously been opened and was definitely returned. But the item looks and works just fine. I'm glad I can continue to use my expensive iPhone dock with my new iPhone 6 with the lightning connector and now it doesn't have to sit in the dock, I can use my iPhone while it beams music to my dock wirelessly. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

I had the Bose iphone dock and had shifted to Samsung Galaxy S3 so I was using the headphone input jack to play music. Ugh. That was a pain. Every time I wanted to play music I had to plug in the jack, tell the phone I was aware that playing the music too loud in the ear phones would damage my hearing, and then turn up the level with the remote. Every time. With this new gadget, it paired itself with my phone in about 10 seconds and the level memory feature in the Bose dock works. We have used it with a JVC UX-GN6 micro stereo and JBL - On Time Micro clock radio, IPhone 6 and IPad Air. It even shows up as an Air Play device. The sound quality is excellent. It did not let us use the remote from the stereo or clock radio to skip to the next song or wake to music, at least not with the equipment I tried it with... I get a 'Check IPod' error message on the UX-GN6 but the Bluetooth devices play and sound just fine. Bluetooth paired up very easily and never dropped connection while in use. Sound is clear and high quality. Would recommend for anyone needing to add bluetooth to old ipod dock. Doesn't have an on/off switch so you will have to unplug the device if you want to kill the power to it. Has a small white led on while you are using it. It saved my iHome docking station from the landfill when I moved from iPhone 4s to and iPhone 6. Those docking stations aren't cheap and have quality sound. I hate replacing every accessory when new technology comes out. The Nyrius works like a charm and I still get the great sound on my iHome. The best part is I can have my iPhone near me to DJ my song list instead of on the docking station.
